Honorary LifeMembership is conferred by the Post upon a member only when the member has rendered to the Post and to the American Legion services which are in truth and in fact distinguished, that is, marked or notable, in that by performance of such service, he has become preeminent among his fellow legionnaires and thereby entitled to great honor and to special reward.
